Congratulations! I think you might have had your first troll. You can now consider yourself an official website.

My sons are P-11 Shooter (Matt) & Joe Smith (Brian) on the PAFOA website. BTW - infinite respect for 1. giving birth to twins and 2. Raising Matt and Brian who are definitely quirky, but some of the finest people I've yet to meet. - Christa ;D

Hi Sam! Welcome to CCAC's SCCC message board, but, clearly & happily, not limited to CCAC. Is this the same Sam that is the Campus Leader for the University of Pittsburgh?

Greethins all.
My name is Wade Kirkpatrick. I live in Philadelphia PA. I'm not currently licensed to carry, but would like to pursue such a thing in the not to distant future. I do honestly feel that people have the right to protect themselves, and that this right should be taken seriously. I also think that people should be well trained in the use of said fire arms before they are given the ability to carry concealed weapons.
Living in a city that has to deal with a rapidly rising murder rate (mostly due to gun violence) I've become increasingly worried for the safety of my family as well as myself. So I've been trying (in my spare time) to learn as much as I possibly can when it comes to carrying a weapon for protection.
I hope to be able to help everyone here in some way, and to be able to help these forums take off.

I hope to be able to help everyone here in some way, and to be able to help these forums take off. We can help you! Visit Pittsburgh on a second sunday of any month and we'll go together to the PAFOA/PMSC Group Shoot, you'll be able to handle any number of different pistols, be shown how to handle each properly, be given a safety demonstration, get the chance to practise firing them, and have breakfast. It's great fun and very educational, very friendly group of people, no finer place on earth! They each bring several different types of firearms and plenty of ammo and no one is shy about letting a stranger use them with proper instruction and a bit of guidance. My brother, sister in law, and 11 year old nepher also go. He's a sharpshooter, that little nephew of mine! ;D - Christa

Your nephew is not only a sharpshooter but one of the most safety minded people I have ever met. I am always amazed when watching him shoot and by the care taken by his parents.
Ditto on coming to a group shoot.

Hello All, My name is Nick, live in PGH. Followed the links from PAFOA as well. I received my undergrad BS from University of Houston, and seeing the crime on campus not from Students but from crimnals residing in surrounding areas leads me to support this cause. I am currently working on my Masters and I am allowed to carry in every classroom (University of Phoenix...Online ). Good luck and keep up the good fight.

Hi Everyone,
I am an adult student at CCAC and have 4 classes to complete for my associates degree in Health/Physical Education. I plan on completing my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science at University of Pittsburgh. I am an ACE-certified personal trainer and have been in the fitness field for 20+ years. My husband got me interested in target shooting and personal protection years ago and I am a CCW permit holder.
My firearm of choice is .45 caliber Springfield XD, also love the .45 1911 style.
I am so grateful to Christa for starting up this chapter. It really upsets me not to be "permitted" to carry my firearm when I am attending classes. The security is a joke, as they are not armed themselves.
Nice to meet everyone and be a part of this organization.

Hello Everyone. My name is Victor. I am here because i caught wind of what happened at CCAC when reading the AR15.com forum boards. I am presently one of 3 owner/operator/instructors of a small firearms training company. The FACT Group. It stands for Firearms and Combatives Training. I am not here to pimp out my company, or look for students. I am very pro self-responsibilty and responsible gun ownership. I travel extensively around the country and train and work with alot of different firearms instructors. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me here or email me at victor.cushanick@comcast.net. I will answer any questions i can....

Hi everyone, my name is Uri and I am a part time student at CCAC. I caught wind of this place on PAFOA and decided to check it out. I'm very impressed with your drive to create and maintain this group and am happy to see that there are proactive people out there with a good solid head on their shoulders.
